Through BRPD Circular No. 04/2001, instructions were issued for scheduled banks to regularly send half-yearly “Transaction Statements” to account holders in order to prevent fraud and forgery. Subsequently, through letter no. BRPD(P-1)/661/13/2013-2405 dated 22 May 2013, banks were again instructed to send “Transaction Statements” to all deposit and loan account holders through e-mail/post/courier services on a half-yearly basis for fraud prevention purposes. ইউনিভার্সিটির এক বড় ভাই একবার একটা উপদেশ দিয়েছিলেন। উপদেশটা এরকম- 'তুমি তোমার লাইফস্টাইলকে একটা নির্দিষ্ট লেভেলে আটকে ফেলবা। সুযোগ হইলেও সেইটা থেকে কখনো উপরে উঠবানা। তাহলে কোনোদিন উপর থেকে পইড়া গেলে (যেইটা হইতেই পারে), তুমি নিজেকে ব্যালেন্স করে দাঁড়াতে পারবা।' এই কথার অর্থ হইতেছে, আজকে তুমি টং দোকানে চা খাইতেছ, কালকে হয়তো প্রায়ই তোমাকে গ্লোরিয়া জিনসে কফি খাওয়া হইতে পারে। গ্লোরিয়া জিনসে সপ্তাহে ২-৩ দিন কফি তুমি খাইতেই পারো তবে সেইটাকে লাইফস্টাইলের অংশ করে নিবা কিনা, সেইটা তুমিই ডিসাইড করবা। তবে মনে রাইখো, আজকে যে অবস্থানে আছো, কালকে সে অবস্থানে নাও থাকতে পারো। কালকে গ্লোরিয়া জিনসের কফি অ্যাফোর্ড করার ক্ষমতা তোমার নাও থাকতে পারে। তখন যেন 'কই ছিলাম আর কই আইসা পড়লাম' টাইপ দুঃখে সুই*সাইড করতে মন না চায়, সে কারণে এই ডিফেন্স মেকানিজম। আমি একটা সময় বেশ খাবি খাইছি লাইফে (স্ট্রাগল বলবো না, রিয়েল স্ট্রাগল আরো কঠিন জিনিস), যে কারণে বড়ভাইয়ের এ উপদেশ মাথায় ঘ্যাচ করে বিঁধে গেল। আমি আমার আজকের লাইফস্টাইলে এমন সব কিছু অ্যাভয়েড করার ট্রাই করছি, যেটা কালকে বিপদে পড়লে আমি অ্যাফোর্ড করতে পা...
